150,000 aero engine parts just-in-time

Since 2004 Ebeling has been storing goods for the MTU Maintenance group in a 4,000 sq.m warehouse. Approx. 150,000 aero engine parts are stored of which every single part is recorded by Ebeling’s own warehouse software. Ebeling has also invented a special truck shuttle in order to supply MTU just-in-time. This service has been certified acc. to ISO 9001:2000 and is a proof of the company’s flexible response to new tasks.

Besides the trade chain Plus relies on the Ebeling logistic services. Since 2006 the Ebeling fleet supplies all Plus-shops between Bielefeld and Hanover. For this purpose Ebeling increased the number of personnel by 17 and bought 10 additional trucks. Before Ebeling had been responsible for the supplies of Plus Verden. The fruitful collaboration led the extension of the cooperation.
